Happy birthday 2013 to ~felrokker!
I've been very inspired by ~TheMinttu's art, yes, though I'm not anywhere close to her level of course XD But what matters is that I'm happy with this piece. There are many little details that I like. I hope you enjoy too, and that this piece can possibly inspire a little story to some^^
do you have that in higher resolution? it's so beautiful :s
thank you^^ I do yes, but the file is quite heavy for the web.
I wish you could ride the one on dragon born or at least a quest was involved.
yeah, I was very deceived. Silt-stider is there but useless for travel. Why, Beth, why you do this?
Idk. I thought overall Dragonborn was a very lackluster dlc. All it was was a bunch of references to bloodmoon and not much else. Really weak and sadly not enough of a final dlc. Should of had a shivering isles.
I love this! I've always wondered how they actually moved.
Thank you very much!^^ I always describe their move as legs spreading like thin panels of a fan being opened.
Whoah!!! I love the mix of colors and "hazy" patterns. That's just beautiful and makes me think of the Sunset going down on Morrowind... As a nation, that is.
Thank you! And yes, there could be a bit of this, yes. I tend to consider that all the bad that happened to Morrowind is the Thalmor's fault, through plotting since the 3rd Era, and since I discovered those heart stones in Solstheim, I believe Lorkhan might come back from this place, with a new Shezzarine to kick the Old Mary's butt. It's been too long since the last Shezzarine...
I believe this is one of your best works! The detail, particularly in the water, planets and ferns is phenomenal. The bright colors are also a plus--very eye catching. I think it also tells a story.
Thank you very much! I wish I could come with such pieces more often (well for this I would surely need to draw more to begin with) and I'm glad you can appreciate the narrative aspect^^ If you'd like to feature it into the group don't hesitate, I wasn't sure in which folder to put it
Serjo, i feel so so so honoured by this picture, it's... an incredible masterpiece. I had to take a second look to notice the fine ash speckles. Such details, omg. In my eyes, you have already reached her level, trust me.
And there are netches!! and silt strider!! my two favourite things!! *swoooooon*
I feel so happy with it, I still come back every once in a while just to look. I can't wait to have it canvas-printed so I can look at it on my wall every day.
I am so thankful for you serjo
Omg you saw them ash speckles, I'm so happy! *u*
*blushes around* When you print it, you gotta send me a pic XD
Gosh, the nostalgia this brings is too much for me xD
I've loved that contrast between blue and red on the painting, it reminds me of ashes and makes the picture even more atmospheric.
Thank you very much Dan *hugs* I'm glad you got those ashes feels, I was so happy to see the effects of some brushes that, I think, somewhat helped to get this ashy feel^^
Dreamy! Thanks for the memories!
The silt strider is so beautiful! I also love the reflection in the water.
Ah thanks! I was very happy to paint a silt strider, I think it was the first time I actually drew one and it was so great to draw all those graceful legs^^ I'm glad the reflection came good as well!
great colors! This is a gift to all followers of TES III
Thank you very much! I'm really happy it gets such appreciation, Morrowind is really the best Elder Scroll in my heart <3
Awww, thiis is so atmospheric:33
Thank you! I noticed I did a lot of characters lately, and very little landscape, and I thought it would be good to do something atmospheric like this
*continuously stares at amazing artworks*
Hmm? Oh yes!! Comment!! This image is so amazing I forgot all about the comments section 8D Lovely and very well detailed as alwaaayyss!!! <3
Man looking at Vvardenfell from Solthiem was kind of a painful thing. Just "Oi can't I just swim over there?"
Yeah ;n; I tried to swim from Skyrim to Solstheim already, and it wasn't working... I thought it would be like in Morrowind >_> But well, that's also why I spend more time on Tamriel with my imagination than playing Skyrim.
My pain was so hard I just start playing MORROWIND once more)))
Also take a look at the Shadow of Morrowind mod.
So did I XD (and then I tried to install mods, and then I had a headache)
Sometimes RPing or just story telling in general is better than the games, no matter how they are. Not to mention the levels of flexibility you are given.
Yes, exactly! In fact, that's what I like with old generation games, there was less in the graphics, but more to imagine by yourself there, and there was more effort in the gameplay mechanics. With next gen games, there has been more and more efforts put in the graphics, and less into replayability, flexibility, etc. Devs have more and more wanted to create some kinds of interactive movies. I will totally agree that Skyrim brought immense improvements to the combat system, but at the same time, I am terribly utterly very deceived that I have to look to my journal all the time to know where the fuck I have to go to do what, because most quest dialog don't give me a single clue about it --and let alone having the possibility to end quests in various ways! What I expect from a TES game today is exactly to give more flexibility in quests, and including other things than combat-based door-foe-treasure patterns that you can solve only in blood and gore, when you should have the possibility to be a non-sneaky pacifist character. In Morrowind, you had Temple quests in which you had to heal people. Why don't they bring such quests back? *all the mods to do...*
Yeah Morrowind had some good immersion compared to Skyrim, which had good music, and fluid gameplay. But you are right, most of the quests (if not all) were usually having to bloody some poor sod up. And dialogue just gave you a location on the map, not hints of where you were supposed to go, and then sometimes it got vague.
But the only time there was a moment you had to figure out how to do a puzzle it was very simple, save for a few dwemer puzzles.
Just hoping the next TES Game would be a throw back to that, and I don't mean ESO.
ESO doesn't really exist *denies it wholeheartedly* the next TES is TES VI, yes. While I find MK's Kinmune fix, it still doesn't fix Mannimarco-agent-of-Bal and the rest of the bullshit so I still have to very refuse the existence of ESO. Seriously, they should have set it during the Dragonbreak of the Alessian period, it was the best time for an epic MMO... :/
