these are samples. the fic is 13 short chapters-long plus an epilogue. Key is centered on the JENOVA Project and I present in it a vision of the events that's quite original I think...
I used the names Square Enix created for FF7Comp (like Lucrecia's family name) but I don't give any credit to DoC, CC etc's plots. I didn't play those games anyway.

good luck! 'cuz i think that Vin was a bit.. happier before hojo thought it was fun to use him as a science experiment... and from crisis core, even sephiroth was a bit....more... caring? yeah caring. before all the bad stuffs happened.

what about Hojo before the bad stuff then? hehe, Vince and Seph may ain't have been the only ones to change. I think character's evolution is an important point of those fics, I like to bring them from a point to another then another etc until they look back and notice how they've grown and changed. like we all do as humans. making characters human is a good trick

hojo was still an insane scientists though. always thinking that anything and everything is good for an experiment. he even acted that way not only in Vincent's memories but also in crisis core. he just doesn't care about anyone else but himself and what hes able to do let alone get away with. but character development is always the best trait a writer can have.

crisis core is nothing but bullshit but Hojo was probably the greatest point in it, he was really cool and in-character, unlike many others... it's true Hojo only cares about his experiment but I tend to think he's way more human than he seems, he's just kinda harsh and unforgiving toward people...
character is important, true... I think everything should be seen as characters
